My Visit to Sabarmati Ashram

Last week I was in Ahmedabad for my regular market visit and I had some two hrs to kill, so my executive of Gujrat suggested visiting Sabarmati Ashram (Mahatma Gandhi’s home in his later years). It’s a beautiful place with lots of positive energy flowing.

Sabarmati Ashram gave me mixed feelings both Positive & Negative.

Negative: the walls were dirty, the photos inside the auditorium were torn and nobody outside to check or see who is entering in a whole the place is an open invitation to the militants. Govt. of Gujrat is sleeping, doing nothing to keep the national treasure in the condition it should be kept. Over all a poor management.

Positive: Positive energy flowing everywhere, very calm and soothing experience. The most positive thing I saw was few young girls working in the bookshop and placing the books in the order. I’m happy that the future of sabarmati ashram is safe as these young girls were taking keen interest in learning about the teaching of Gandhi.

Letter to Paulo

Dear Paulo,
I've read almost all ur books. I feel as if i've written this book as the thoughts are so close to my thinking process. I Bought this book from airport bookstore and after reading two chapters I felt the same feeling when i read Alchemist the first time.

But Paulo , I'm sorry to say that i'm dissappointed with the end. Why this end ??? do you want to signify with this that this world is not ready for this ??? or sharing the thoughts in todays world can be dangerous ??? there can be some ups and downs but taking a recluse ............... is it right ???

with lots of Questions,

Jarmaan
